How did I choose to focus and invest here in Aljezur, and why do I truly believe in this place?

Aljezur's beaches are some of the most famous for surfing, attracting surfers from all over Europe and the rest of the world. Beyond the surf, the beaches are known for their wild and unspoiled beauty.

Aljezur is located along two famous trails: the Fishermen's Trail and the Rota Vicentina. These routes bring hikers and travelers throughout the year, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the region.

Aljezur and the rest of the Algarve region in southern Portugal are known for having one of the warmest climates in Europe. This attracts many visitors from northern Europe — including the UK and other colder countries — especially during the winter months. While it may be freezing back home, here you can enjoy sunny days even in the middle of winter.

And after discovering this special place, many visitors decide to stay. Today, Aljezur has a large and growing expat community from all over the world — not only from northern Europe, but also from Brazil, the USA, Israel, the UK, Scandinavia, and many other countries.

Over the years, more cafés and restaurants have opened, along with retreat centers, shops, and wellness studios offering yoga, dance, and other activities. People come here to live a slower life, to be part of a community, and to experience the culture of the local Portuguese people, who grow their own food and sell it at the Aljezur market every Saturday.
