Casa Neta - Aljezur, South West Portugal

The design of this house is inspired by Aljezur, where it is located, next to green views and the old town.

The color palette I chose for this house was inspired directly by its surroundings: terracotta like the rooftops, deep green like the nearby pine forests, touches of blue like the old azulejos—the painted tiles—and gold like the strong sun.

I chose to work with natural materials, with antiques, and with details that tell a story. Art is part of this house.
